Changing the face of aquatic rehab right here in Somersworth, NH...Rick McAvoy, PT has always been interested in water. As an avid surfer, a son named Noah, and the head of the Center for Aquatics at Rehab 3 at Marsh Brook, Rick has devoted his life to helping individuals recover from injury using...water. Recently Rick and his colleagues performed a study on individuals with Total Knee Replacements using and innovative integrative approach combining water and land therapy. This approach to therapy combines water's unique properties with land-based treatment exercises to lead to better outcomes than land alone. Although it has been over a year since it was published, Rick says that they see results everyday at Rehab 3. We have attached it to our website for your review.
