Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Rehabilitation:  takes advantage of water’s unique properties to provide special treatment opportunities that do not occur on land.  Our therapeutic pools are graduated in depth and outfitted with a power lift for those who have difficulty entering or exiting the pool.  The highly trained staff utilizes a wide variety of hydrotherapeutic techniques.  Rehab 3 provides a variety of therapeutic equipment designed to enhance the effectiveness of the patient’s customized exercise program.

Transitional Swim Program:  is an independent program for clients who no longer require formal therapy but would benefit from continued therapeutic pool exercise.  The transitional swim program is a self-pay program.

Arthritis Program:  is a recreational program that provides an opportunity for people with arthritis to meet others and have fun while exercising.  Trained personnel lead participants through specially designed exercises which, with the aid of water’s unique properties, help improve physical conditioning while reducing pain and stiffness of arthritic joints.  This program is open to any individual with arthritis and physician referral is required.  As spots are limited, registration is on a first come/first serve basis; contact the facility of choice for further information.
